How do you choose between oven and hood?

• The two ovens share capacity: Both are 60 cm and 77 litres. Pick the color against the cabinet fronts. Do not expect a capacity difference.
• The hood should be at least as wide as the cooktop: A 90 cm cooktop needs a 90 cm hood such as the island model. A 60 cm hood leaves the edges of a wide cooktop unswept.
• An island hood needs a ceiling: The IHT943 hangs over an island cooktop and needs a ceiling fixing and either a duct or recirculation, depending on the kitchen design.
• A washable filter is not a lifetime carbon filter: The aluminum filter on the island hood is washed. A kitchen with no outside duct may need carbon as well, and that has to be checked in the model details.

A 60 cm opening is the common cut-out in new flats in Amman and Irbid. A villa with an island kitchen is the case for 90 cm, not a small linear kitchen. The oven is electric on 230V, so give it a suitable circuit and do not share a weak adaptor with a microwave and a kettle.
